Recipes of the Month


   

April 2006: Turtle Fudge

Mix in order given:

1 pound melting chocolate (melted)
1 pinch of salt
1 cup of pecans
1 cup of caramel bits
Stir
1 tsp vanilla
Stir
Place on wax paper until it sets
Cut into pieces after 20 minutes

November 2005: Lovegrove's Pop Mix
 Mix in order given:
  12 cups of popped popcorn
  Take un-popped popcorn
  Salt and butter to taste
  Add 1 8oz package of caramel bits
  1 1/2 cups of salted roasted peanuts
  1 1/2 cups of small pretzel rods
  1 pound of butterscotch candy melts (melted)
  Stir
  Let cool on wax paper and store in airtight container
June 2006: Caramel Sauce
Mix in order given:  
  1 lb of butterscotch melted
  1 stick of real butter melted and blended into the caramel
  Warm 1 - 14 oz can of Eagle Brand Milk, (Sweet Condenced Milk)
 and blend into the caramel and butter mixture, stir until smooth.
 Cool to use in making Turtles or warm on ice cream

 July 2006: Ice Cream Bon Bon's

In order given:
Coat a candy mold with chocolate (any Bon Bon or Cherry
mold will work). To make a candy shell put in refrigerator until
set.. Fill with softened Ice Cream & set in freezer until hard.
Seal the mold with more melted chocolate. Chill until set
and remove from molds. Store in freezer until serving.

July 2006: Strawberries and Cream

In order given:
1 Cup of cream cheese pastry filling.
1 Cup marsh mellow cream
Mix the two together and serve as a dip for strawberries or any fruit.
